In a couple of weeks time, Leeds' newest venue will open its doors to grateful punters denied the chance of seeing the likes of Foals, Elbow and Mercury Rev without either having to organise a trek to Manchester or Sheffield, or put up with Leeds University's famously eccentric Refectory. Apart from the bizarre ticket pricing policy (a "mere" £14 to see Foals while sitting down with the now bald and cadaverous Tim Booth and the reformed James will set you back a jaw dropping £30), there's much to celebrate about the advent of the Academy franchise in Leeds. But.
